As part of our B.Ed curriculum, our 4th semester teaching
practice started on 13/11/2017 at Govt. Vhss, Thattamala. We had completed
one week of teaching practice. I had got the class 9 B. The students of
9 B were very co operative but they find difficulty in grasping it fast. I had completed my five lesson plans in
this week. I took the poem "Another chance" by Helen Steiner Rice. It
descibes the importance of having hope and optimism in life.
I got a different class for my Fourth semester teaching
practice from the last teaching practice. So the students in 9 B were new to me. So I had taken this one
week in order to acquaint with each other. I had also got a chance to mingle with other
students of the school as part of the substitution hours I was assigned
during this week. Moreover I had got the opportunity to obesrve my
friends' teaching practice. It helped me to learn some new techniques
and there by improving my class. We had conducted children's day on the 14th of November. It was well arranged with help of training teachers. it was an enriching experience for the students and for us.
